Jeremiah:15-16.

When your words came, I ate them, they were my joy my hearts delight for I bear your name, O Lord
Almighty.

Here Jeremiah says - when your word came I ate them.  To have what Jeremiah have we must
Sit at the the Lord's feet and let Him feed us.

For many of us though we read God's word we are not feeding on God, we are more intend on
Mastering the text - finding out its precise meaning gathering theories so we can talk more intelligently about god..

The main purpose of reading the Bible however is to come to Him, to encounter Him as  our living God.  1st Corinthians. 2-16.  "For who has known the mind of The Lord that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.

When we read his word we are reading His mind - what He knows, what He feels, what He wants
And what He enjoys, and what He loves.

Take time to reflect on what He is saying.  Think about each word until God's heart is revealed
and your heart is exposed.
