The weapons of love.

Isaiah:54-17.

No weapons forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the hertiage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, If no weapons formed against us prospers or overcomes us - is it not the love of God which is the greatest weapon that protects us?
When we are filled with Calvary's undying and unchanging love these weapons or trials are no doubt but straw before the fire.
God's love is stronger than death.
Dear child of God, perhaps today you are confronted with many of the enemy's weapons.
The only way to become more than a conqueror over these trials or troubles is to be filled with Calvary's pure love.
Are you able to love those who insult you, humiliate you, persecute you, reject you, despise you, deceive you or deprive you?
If so you are more than a conqueror.

Call on me.

Isaiah:55-6

Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, we have to be receptive to the word of God in our lives as He speaks to us, through His word, for He is our refuge and our strength.
My child, if today your life is far away from God, far away from His presence, far away from His love, far away from His grace, far away from His power and far away from His goodness - when you face a trial or trouble you will find God far away from you.
When your heart is far away from God there is no satisfaction, no rest, life will be bitter, enpty dark filthy and dry.
May the Lord help us to live in Him so that the joy of the Lord will be our help.

Hope in God.

1John 3:3

Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, Hope is a cleansing force in the life of the Christian. Our hope is in Gos's promises and we desire purity because of our hope in Christ.
God fills the believer with joy and peace (the fruits of the Spirit) to mature us, and these fruits will multiply within us.
A person filled with hope is automatically a person filled with praise - in the Lord. He exalts the lord and praises Him at all times.
Dear child of God, let your heart be filled with the joy and hope of the Lord all your life. For happy is the man who puts his trust in the Lord.

I will uphold thee.

Isaiah 41:10

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

My dear children, As much as we are holding on to God - God is also holding us,
as a mother who holds her child, so is the lord's hand holding us.
Beloved, we are weaklings without any divine help, we cannot stand upright.
The Lord knows our weakness - He has promised that He will uphold us with His righteous hand.
Jude 24 says: Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.
The Lord is holding us up so that on that glorious day we may be presented before the presence of His glory.

Walk with God.

Colossians:2-6

Just as ypu received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, can two walk together except they agree? The answer is NO.
We cannot walk with God unless we agree to go His way.
God's ways are unchangeble, if there is adjustment to be made, it is we who have to change our mind to walk with Him - Malachi:3-6 says "I the Lord do not change."
We always read in the scriptures that man walks with God, not God walking with man.
Dear child of God, the mystery of a intimate life in the presence of God is not investigating God - but to have a continues fellowship with God.

Perfect Peace.

Isaiah 26:3-4

Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, Although peace is a promised gift of the Lord, we have to apply it in our lives to be effective.
A praying person puts his attention on God and not on his problems and therefore enjoys peace.
Throught church history, men and woman who have the understanding of divine peace in their lives are persons with much prayer. They always have a set time for prayer and they also communicate with God throughout the day thus their relationship with God becomes more intimate.
When we feel our peace being disturbed - it is time to go and pray - PRAYER BRINGS PEACE.

Delight in the Lord.

Psalms 37:4-5

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your ways to the Lord trust in him and he will do this.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, The prophetic word concering your life reveals God's prophetic destiny and plans for you.
When God starts revealing his plans and purposes to you - just rest in your spirit and allow Him to lead you.
There may be questions in your mind and fears in your heart, but remember - The Chief Shepherd (Jesus) knows where He is leading you. Don't be afraid, hold on stand firm, because you are not alone.

Yes and No.

Matthew:5-37.

Simply let your "Yes" be "Yes" and your "No," "No," anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, We must learn to abide in Christ and must learn to be honest in all our commitments.
We must practise scriptual principles of honesty.
If we don't mean it we should not say it. If we don't intend to do it, we should not promise or get involved in any problems.
We must make ourselves believable to ourself, our fellowman and God.
Dear child of God, many claim to have made a commitment in their life to Christ, while in fact they took Christ on a trial basis.
Galatians:5-7 says:-
You were running a good race. who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?
Think about what Paul has written it is an important question for me and for you.

Newness of Life.

Romans:6-4

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the
dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live anew life.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, take position in the Lord, and check your relationship level with God.
As we check ourself and walk in His revealed ways, - we will enjoy His success, eternal life, abiding presence and security.
He will never take these things away from us. He will share them with those who walked with Him as - Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and others.
When we insist upon walking in our own paths, we automatically lose all the benefits.
He does not withdraw anything from us, we walk away from the very source.
So my child, let go of your ways and embrace God's ways, and you will enjoy all that is promised to you.

Walk for God.

1 Corinthians:7-17

As God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk.

Sharing of the word.

My dear children, The early Christians were known for their "walk" for God. Their experiences was progressive.
To walk for the Lord, we have to move out from where we are, so that the Holy Spirit can help us walk.
God wants us to start moving. Start walking! We have set long enough. It is time to step out. We have been free with our talk now its time to walk.
But if you ask me I rather be flying like an eagle; then to walk.
As glorious as soaring experiences is - most Ministry and development occurs in the everyday walk of life.

Ask, Seek, Knock.

Matthew 7 :7-8

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, many times we ask God for something, we give up thinking we are not getting it.
But it is not right, we must continue asking until we see the change we desire.
It is when you pray that God releases His power. So spent time in prayer and whatever you desire, He will give it to you.
Prayer is a place where you meet God and talk to Him personally. It is very powerful, if you have experienced it, you will know what I am talking about.
If you are not there yet - start to-day.
THERE IS NO PLEASURE WITHOUT PRAYER.

Christ the Head.

Ephesians 1:22

God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the Church.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, the Church is Christ's Body on earth and it must function in His life. The Church without the life and gifiting of the Spirit of God is incomplete.
In getting all things "in Christ," God not only seeks to restore fellowship but
earnestly desires to reveal Himself to us.
God's method of accomplishing all this is to gather together in one all things in Christ.
When we are in Him the uniting force makes the Church productive and every family peaceful.

Shalom

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, Shalom is a Hebrew meaning of double peace. If you keep your mind in the Lord He will keep you in peace and health.
If your mind is always on your problems then you will be worring all the time so keep your mind on God and you will have peace.
Many people, today fix their mind on their sickness - and they have no peace.
Child of God, trust God and fix your mind on Him who alone can heal you and restore you.
Philippians 4:6-7.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
It does not say that all your prayers will be answered the way you want.
But if you give all your worries to God - you will receive peace for YOUR GOD IS GREATER THAN ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AND YOUR SICKNESS.

The Truth.

John 8:32.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, The greatest fear in human experience is the fear of the unknown.
By filling our hearts with God's truth, we immunize ourselves against the fear.
The truth also sets us free from all falsehood and half truth. No lie can successfully contend with revealed truth.
The scriptual answer to satan's temptation has been "It is written."
So the best defence is to embrace the truth of God's Word.
We will not be deceived if we know God's truth and receive it.
My dear child of God, the darkness of Satan has been broken by the penetrating light of God's truth - so we are no longer prisoners when we have embraced the truth.

Truth Seeking.

Luke l9.2-3

A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd.

Sharing of the word:

My dear childen, Zacchaeus was a man who wanted to know who Jesus was.
When he heard Jesus was passing by he wanted to see Jesus - as he was a short man he had to climb a sycamore tree.
He did not care about the foolish things people will say he was doing. His desire was to see Jesus.
Child of God, God choose the foolish things of the world to teach the wise.
We see that the people did not like Zacchaeus - they spoke all kinds of things about him. They did not like him because he was a tax collector. But Zacchaeus object was to see Jesus
he did not care about the people or what they say, his object was to meet Jesus.
Jesus who saw his heart position said, "Zacchaeus come down immediately, I must stay at your house today."
To-day do you want to met this Jesus, don't worry about what people would say - JESUS IS WAITING TO MEET YOU ARE YOU READY.

Guided by God.

Psalms 32:8-9

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.
Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.

Sharing God of the word:

My dear children, God can guide us in two ways, I will watch over you means He will guide you with love. Like a shephard who leads his sheep. If we will not be guided by His love - then the Lord will lead us with bits and bridles like a horse or donkey.
Some people obey only when some sickness, accident or something happens to their life. Then they cry.
So child of God, let us not be like the hourse or mule. Let us not harden our hearts. Let us hear the voice of God like the disciples who listened to their master, and the Lord will not fail to guide us - lovingly, gently and tenderly.

God will deliver.

Psalm 91:15

He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.

Sharing of the word:

My dear childen, What is the difference between God delivering us from trouble and God delivering us in trouble.
1. Delivered in: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not delivered from the fire but IN the fire.
2. Delivered from: God delivered Daniel FROM the den of lions.
When God allows a trouble or trial in our life - He wants to promote and honour us.
We see that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were promoted by the king in the province of Babylon.
After Daniel was delivered the king honoured Daniel and proclaimed that Daniel's God was the true God, who was to be worshipped by all.
Dear child of God, perhaps you are in deep trouble now - Be of good cheer.
The Lord will deliver you and honour you.

Faithfulness

Psalms 143:1

O Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, Rejoice! God will perfect you to the end, that you may be found blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He who has already started the good work in you is faithful.
I pray that god perserves your whole spirit soul and body blameless unto the coming King - who is our Lord Jesus Christ.
For He who called you is faithful.

Faith in God.

Colossians 1:3-4

We always thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, the faith we have received from God has to go beyond what needs to be produced. Our confidence should be Christ not crisis.
We are not told to ignore the need, but to turn to the source of supply who is Christ. He will fulfill His promises according to His time (not our time) and projects His unchangeable nature to us.
That is why we can trust Him totally, and have complete confidence in Him.
Men may fail us, doctrines may deceive us, and religion often disappoints us, but God never fails.

Lord's work.

John 4:39.

Many of the Samaritans from the town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, "He told me everything I ever did."
v. 41. And because of his words many more became believers.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, the Samaritan woman Jesus spoke to, at the well left her waterpot and ran to the city to testify about Jesus.
What was the disciples doing? They were also going to the city but to buy food.
The diciples knew more about Jesus, they were always with Him, but we don't see them testifying or even bringing a single soul to Christ.
The Samaritan woman brought many of the Samaritans (new believers) to Jesus, and was keen on serving the Lord.
She was not like the cold believers (disciples).
Dear child of god, it is time that we left our waterpots (earthly minded life) at the feet of Jesus and run like the Samaritan woman to tell the good news.

Blessed Weakness

2 Corinthians 12:9

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, What is the weakness Paul is glorying in? Does it refer to sickness or weakness?
I don't think so because these things cannot cause the power of God to rest in anyone. I would call it spritual weakness - this weakness will take us from glory to glory.
2 Corinthians 13:4 says, Christ was crucified through weakness.
When we stop doing things our own way or own will, then the grace of God will flow with divine strength in our weak body, to do the will of God.
Dear childen, lets pray that God will give us His strength to do His will - for when we are weak He makes us strong.

Thursday, August 5, 2010

Increase.

Psalm 71:21

You will increase my honour and comfort me once again.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, when God increases your greatness one thing is very sure - you will find comfort everywhere and the Lord himself will be comforting you in times of trials and troubles.
Because it was God's will to raise you no one can stand against you, and in every situation, the Lord will comfort you, and you will be a comfort to others.

Sin

Psalm 85:2

You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, We all believe that Jesus had taken all our sins to the Cross.
Though we believe that sin is a problem for us and the Church, we also believe that Jesus has broken the power of sin in the Cross. God need not do anything more it is finished.
Child of God, knowing the Cross and the resurrection we still struggle under the weight of sin's guilt, therefore we need to repent and God will be gracious to forgive us and change us.
To have a sinless life - go to the feet of Jesus everyday and ask for forgiveness and repent and He who sees your faithfulness will lift you and cleanse you.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Blessedness.

Psalm 103:1

Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, we always bless the Lord and praise Him for all that He has done and what He is going to do in our lives.
Praise is an offering that is poured out before the Lord. It is love appreciation, adoration and worship that flows from your Spirit through the Holy Spirit into the presence of God.
Dear child of God, let us praise and worship God this way for this is the kind of offering God is expecting from us.

Monday, August 2, 2010

Cleansing the Temple.

Psalm.119:9

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

Sharing of the word:

My dear children, Jesus told his disiciples in John 15:3. "Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken to you."
Paul said, Husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.
Dear children, cleansing is something that we all need to have in our life. We have to pray, asking God to cleanse and heal us from all areas of our life, and God who loves us will help change us - to face one day at a time.
FOR GOD DID NOT CALL US TO UNCLEANNESS BUT HOLINESS.
